What is the Bright House of Change Organisation (BHCO), and what does it do!?

Bright House of Change Organization (BHCO) is a full registered NGO with Reg. No. 00NGO/R/3779 by the United Republic of Tanzania, under the NGOs Act, 2002.

BHCO is a life changer organization that deals with uncovering the potentials of vulnerable youth, men and women, from different backgrounds, education levels, ethnic or professions, who are facing problems of limited education opportunities, poor medical care and health information, drugs and substance abuse, social media peer pressure, unemployment, poverty, and gender based violence (GBV) by creating friendly space, i.e BHCO House, for gradual transformation through project work, life skills training, talents and sports. Moreover, creation of global connection and networking (exchange programs), conducting research, digital and media literacy, information communication technology, capacity building, internships, volunteering, scholarships, assistantships, career development, and hence become important group in community solutions.

Securing youths, men and women career, by creating employment opportunities, projects engagement, entrepreneurship, and future planning, through capacity building and daily sessions.

Our Vision:
Envision the community which full attains education, transformed lives for brighter future of youths, men and women, in Tanzania.

From the CEO

Godlove Shami is a globally experienced individual, value driven, trainer, project leader, founder and currently CEO of Bright House of Change Organization (BHCO), NGO that operates in Tanzania, serving both vulnerable youth, men and women. Godlove plays a fundamental role of making sure the profound objectives, mission and vision of BHCO are achieved in order to uncover the education potentials in the community by creating more opportunities and networking across the world. In his previous roles with TELTA and GARACK, he was distinguished as a best coordinator and director in coaching, digital technology, mentorship, entrepreneurship, change maker, community solution, and professional development expert. Godlove finally oversees the BHCO ongoing expansion effort as a project based NGO in Tanzania.

IQ Interschool Challenge

IQ program is the Television (TV) program that promotes student public speaking (debate and speech), through questions and answers, presentations, and talent shows. The program deals with asking and answering different questions in various subjects that are within Tanzanian current syllabus and curriculum, different schools, both public and private. It is conducted in terms of competitive challenges.

Pan African Speech Debate has a great pleasure to share about the Second Pan African Speech and Debate Program hosted at Musabe schools in Mwanza, Tanzania, following the arrival of Bozeman High School Hawkers Speech and Debate on June 29th 2024.
